ACS has three highly qualified and experienced health and fitness tutors available to our students. Their qualifications cover alternative health, biological sciences, education as well as sports and fitness. All have at least 5 years experience in their field.
Our Principal, Mr John Mason has published books on Aerobic Fitness as well as Aquafitness and has undertaken training in Fitness and Physical Education. He has been previously employed as the Director of Parks and Recreation in Essendon, Australia and is a member of ACHPER. Although he does not tutor students, Mr Mason has developed and enhanced many of our fitness and recreation courses using his many years of experience and study.
Lyn Quirk
MProfEd, AdvDipComplMed (Naturopathy), AdvDipSports Therapy
Lyn is qualified to teach, train and instruct not only in sports and fitness but in other areas as well. She has established and managed 5 star health clubs and is involved in the training of First Aid Instructors. She has more qualifications than we have room to list here and a vast amount of experience both in industry and in training. Lynn has been with ACS for over 10 years and has upgraded and developed courses in her fields of expertise over this time, as well as tutoring numerous students. Lynn tutors across a number of fields including fitness, health and biological sciences and complementary medicine as well as Life Coaching.
Pam Fricker
Dip Sport, Cert Education,Cert Physical Education

Pam is our UK based fitness tutor. Her experience includes lecturing and course development with the YMCA and BTEC and she also leads intensive courses for excercise, circuit training, step and gym classes. Pam has extensive training and experience in the fitness industry and in gyms as well as excellent credentials teaching fitness students. Pam tutors across all our fitness and recreation courses.
Alison Sweet BBioMedSc(Hon)
Alison is a biomedical scientist completing her doctorate in molecular biology. She is also a trained phlebotomist and has spent the past 5 years working in an endocrinology/obesity research laboratory. She has given presentations at a range of scientific conferences and has had her work included in two publications in the American Journal of Medical Genetics. Alison tutors students in nutrition and biological sciences and is one of our in-house academics in the Australian office.
